Respect the Wu.Aside from the tiny budget and using worn-out equipment, a lot of the lo-fi quality can be traced back to the group’s lack of production experience. Listen, enjoy and learn the words to impress your girlfriend. Homicide, drugs, money, bitches and badass behaviour. Watch for the police as they will bust you - so smoke your drugs and throw your mobile phones in the bin, as these guys don't piss about.

An amazing group with some of the best murderers in the business. In terms of just how super they are, all you have to do is listen to Protect Your Neck, or any track they did during the mid 90's. Their music is immortal, brilliant, timeless and most certainly classic. In terms of just how damn good the group are all you have to do is look at their history over the course of their tenure in the business. Their follow-up albums were strong (in particular Wu-Chronicles and Wu-Tang Forever, as well as Iron Flag) featuring many elements of superb instruments and lyrics, focusing on many subjects such as philosophy, the prison system and of course drugs and society in America at the time. Whilst the band dipped in quality later on in their career, their dominance in the rap scene during the 90's is strong. Highlights include the insurmountably brilliant Method Man, the immortal songs such as C.R.E.A.M and of course the immeasurable sounds of Clan In Da Front, Bring Da' Ruckus and of course Protect Your Neck. From the music, to the lyrics to the general vibes presented, every track is great. The songs are catchy and memorable and in most ways very well made. The rest of the group are immense in their lyrical verses.

Every member shines, particularly Method Man, Ghostface Killer, Ole' Dirty Bastard, GZA and Raekwon. From a lyrical standpoint, the music is of an excellent standard, incorporating jazzy elements with typical beats and good musical sensibilities. There are no weak tracks and everything sounds perfectly composed and balanced. From a production perspective, everything is structured very well and the instrumentation is perfect. Everything presented is in a nice, neat package. The highlights, in short, is the whole f ucking album. In most circumstances, their music is very special for a number of reasons - instrumentals are sound and well-produced and the beats are superb. The beats are sick and as ill as a grandma with AIDS and in general, their style is imitable. Covering topics mostly related to doing drugs and committing violent acts of a criminal nature, their music is renowned for being very astute and profound in the sense that it is very memorable and infectious. Lyrically, they are the greatest on Earth. Wu-Tang Clan, as a rule, are most likely the greatest and most influential rap group to emerge from 90's American hip-hop. Review Summary: The best and greatest rap album ever from a group as immortal as God himself.
